Alcon Reports Solid Financial Results for Second Quarter

Alcon, Inc. reported global sales of $1,677 million for the second quarter of 2009, a 3.3 percent increase excluding the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations, or a decrease of 3.4 percent compared to the second quarter of 2008 on a reported basis.
