FDA panel recommends wider use for Crestor (San Jose Mercury News)

A Food and Drug Administration advisory panel recommended Tuesday that drugmaker AstraZeneca be allowed to expand the labeling on its cholesterol-lowering drug Crestor to include some people who do not have high cholesterol levels.
